Lara Zankoul

Photographer Lara Zankoul creates images, videos or 3D compositions brimming with surrealism yet without digital manipulation. Photography that's full of symbolism based on everyday human behaviour, on psychological elements,—whilst leaving the viewer open to interpret the art themselves. 

Rhythmical, ethereal imagery with metaphysical attributes, Zankoul's images dance between the real and the surreal. 

Art that reveals escapism from the everyday, from work situations, social pressures, away from the daily challenges of political instability. Lara Zankoul is a self taught photographer from Lebanon.

The artist explores human psyche, relaying different dimensions, as well as human struggles, carrying messages in each work that roam between, dream like moments, the magic of our world as well as its realities, the conscious and unconscious coming together. 

Lara Zankoul's work will be on display with Art Girls Galerie at Menart Fair in Paris September 2024.
